Lokiss ( France) www.emosmos.com

Having developed his artistic gesture in the context of the first Graffiti wave in the ‘80s, and a singular writing and unique aesthetic that contributed to the recognition of his style, Lokiss is considered to be a forerunner of one of the most significant alternative movements of the last 30 years.

Very influenced by the pioneers of abstraction (Delaunay, Kupka), or by Ipoustéguy’s sculpture, dismissing the production of graffiti on canvas, each piece by Lokiss is also an opportunity to bring a new light on a popular movement, by confronting its visual codes to those of high art, contributing to define a current that has already been named "post-graffiti".
